Picking huckleberries in the mountains, shooting guns, losing tooth number 6 in mid-sentence and celebrating later with huckleberry pancakes and fresh raspberry jam at the cousins...a full weeks worth on the first day!
Haircuts :) need I say more...always the best on the first day :)
First day of potty training: we made it through Walmart, to the D shop, and most of the day only to look over right in the middle of dinner when Anabel has hopped down and is gently shaking the hem of her pant leg in order to allow a surprise to be dislodged.....we hid our smiles behind the lens as we captured the moment as Anabel's face says it all...someday she will laugh too :)
Packing our packs with fresh school supplies, always bittersweet...the smell of crayons always gives me a tinge of homesick to be young but also the anticipation of fall and new things ahead for all...come slowly fall.
