While driving to the pediatrician's office today Evie, from the backseat asks in a rather worried voice, "Why do we need those shots to go to school anyway?" And Asher in a big brother matter-of-a-fact way responds, "Because they want you to be sanitary." ......"Right mom? Isn't that what sanitary means?" :)
As a mom I love these random childhood conversations that come up from the backseat while we drive along, eat our breakfast, or just about do anything. There are so many I plan to write down and then a day goes by and I can't quite remember how it all went down....so I am going to try and make this a more regular thing...even if its just for me to look back and smile.
